Realistic Sand Sculptures

The minute I saw this photo, I felt sorry for a poor guy. I assumed it’s a picture of a dying elephant. But later I realised it came from a site dedicated to sand sculptures
. This exibit is located at Harrison Hot Springs, also know as “Harrisand”. Harrisand hosts a World Championships of Sand Sculpture, so if you visit it, you can’t miss having really great time. Check for more of amazing sand sculptures inside this post. I posted only those who manage to deceive, giving you impression it’s real thing not a sand sculpture. Be sure to visit this site for full full set of images.

The Queen's Cut

The Queen's Cut

An entertaining adaptation of the "cut in sixths" effect from Paul Osborne. A narrow upright cabinet is shown and the assistant takes her place inside secured by the neck with ropes that thread through holes at the sides - the ropes held by laymen. Five large solid playing cards (masonite) are thrust through the cabinet emerging through the back cutting your assistant in sixths! A great stage effect!

Modern Art

Modern Art Steinmeyer

The now classic apparatus from the fertile mind of Jim Steinmeyer built by the craftsmen at Illusion Arts Magic! An assistant enters the tight confines of the upright cabinet only to be split at the waist as the top half moves completely to one side. The doors are opened to reveal a very convincing cutting illusion!

The Crystal Guillotine

An Illusion Arts Magic exclusive adaptation of the Lester Lake Guillotine. Built from fire polished plexiglas and polished aluminum! A beautiful show piece for the performer or collector!

Magician Dale Scott says, The Crystal Guillotine truly is "The Future of Magic"!
Thanks very much Craig,

Cut & Run Illusion

Cut & Run Illusion

Called the "Splicer", this adaptation of the Andrew Mayne effect features the apparent splicing of an assistant with both hands in full fview the entire time. No fakes! A very clever concept brought to life by the craftsmen at Illusion Arts Magic!

Stage Version Three Ball Illusion

Stage Version Three Ball

Stage Version Three Ball

A full stage version of the classic Strat-o-phere effect orignated by U F Grant. This version features 5 inch balls! I've always wanted to do this effect but with bigger props - so here it is!

Vanishing Assistant CAPE Form

Vanishing Assistant CAPE Form

This all aluminum form can be placed in any cape for an assistant vanish. The head piece is hinged so that the head will fall forward upon the vanish being performed. A very nice item for the stage performer.
